About the Carbon Hill FMC Family
Carbon Hill First Methodist Church is a warm and loving family of faith, dedicated to spreading the love and teachings of Jesus Christ. Meet pastor Krel Buckelew and his wife Kathy Buckelew
Pastor Krel grew up developing his art skills and spent his career painting pictures. He also grew up developing his love for Jesus and for God's Word. His two loves come together now as he uses creative ways to present the Gospel to people where ever he can reach out to them.
Kathy Buckelew grew up knowing that she was called to be a teacher which she has been doing now for thirty six years. Her love for learning and literature has meshed with her love for Jesus as she continues to serve people of all walks of life by leading them to strengthen their minds as well as their passion for life.
Meet our Music Ministers
Mrs. Linda Laird has been serving Carbon Hill FMC with her talents for 40 years. Her piano playing brings a peaceful and healing spirit to our worship services.

OUR MINISTRIES
Our church offers small group Bible study at 9:30 am each Sunday, followed by a traditional worship service at 10:30 for our community. On Sunday nights we have a unique worship service / Bible study called Sunday Night Live from 4 to 5, where we present the Gospel in creative ways for every age group.
